Narochansky National park

Narochansky National park is a jewel of Belarusian Lakeland («Poozyorye») that is carefully guarded by the state. Picturesque landscape of forest, blue spread of lakes and river valleys, meadows and marshes attract an endless flow of the tourists.The precious property of the park is Lake Naroch (total about 80 sq km). The good ecology of the place favours the resort infrusrtructure development and encourages different types and forms of tourism.

• For the nature lovers it offers the simple pleasures of hunting and fishing, facilitated excursion and tourist routes, ornithology routes in the environmentally clean regions. The most loved one goes through the forested hills and lowlands hollows and winds between the unique lakes of the Blue Lakes natural ecosystem.
• Explorative tourism focuses on the the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the Naroch lands, traditional people»s and religious architecture (Christian temples of XVII-XX centuries, estates) to bring the dear visitors in touch with the original peculiarities of the Belarusian nation. The program of a visit makes 14 diverse excursion routes including 7 within the terrirory of the park.
• Health tourism is one of the Narochansky National park»s working program branches. It was worked out to arrange the best facilities for people»s recreation and health restoration. Here are 12 sanatoria, boarding-houses, tourist camps at your disposal. The rich in natural healing resources cli-mate, curing mineral waters, peat balneology attract over 60 thousand people annually.
